After upgrading from an 8 ft. x 8ft. bedroom in Ann Arbor, I needed to set up a workspace in my new room here in Chicago. It's a little bare yet, but is organized and functional. No excuse not to draw.

I've invaded the Michigan Theater's concession stand once again. Let's hope the Coke representative doesn't visit for a while to ensure a longer exhibition life this time around.

I only have twelve drawings from my senior thesis, this is the worst. That's twelve original, hand-drawn, can't-be-replicated drawings that I have trouble parting with. I art-swapped my first one with a good friend, Charles, and came up with an idea: You take my Boxhead, I take your picture.

why did i think to leave?

Sporadic posting and the threat of a long-term hiatus from this blog over the last month was all due to me getting a tumblr. A tumblr where writing doesn't take place, only drawings. No matter how much I call myself an illustrator, I do like writing (even if I'm the only one reading it...).
